Easier to use than other online reviews may suggest.

I had been delaying getting this scanner for a couple of reasons, one being the time it was said to take in scanning over more expensive scanners and the other being reviews stating that the software wasn't all that easy to get to grips with (Silverfast). Ive had no such problems. As for the scanning speed, it's perfectly acceptable when you consider whats involved. Even if you had a scanner that scanned many negatives at once, you still have to deal with each one in turn anyway, it's hardly a great inconvenience. In any event, this scanner has a much smaller footprint and is therefore easier to place/position and I dont put it away after use. As for the software, it's easy enough to use once you figure it out. After a few images processed, you soon get the hang of it. In the end, good results, good value and engaging. Fast delivery from my seller (HDEW).
