HDEW Cameras As Agent

With the move to online trading, HDEW adapted its business model by launching this website over 15 years ago. We have also broadened our product range by offering a sourcing service as a disclosed agent for Brookvale Trade, Australia. When you buy through this sourcing service, you are buying direct from Brookvale Trade with HDEW Cameras acting as agent.

If you come to collect the product from our UK premises or you are a business requiring UK vat supply then you can request this service and buy from HDEW Cameras. Further details are listed below under Intellectual Property Rights.

Product Guarantee

All products come with a standard 1-year warranty based on the sales invoice you receive with the product. All you need is to keep the invoice.

In addition we can supply extra cover with Xtendcover Limited to allow you to have the product repaired for a further 2 years under guarantee. You need to keep the sales invoice and the Xtendcover card, which comes with the product.

Please note that many but not all of our offers include the extended guarantee. This is clearly indicated in the description of the products or bundles for sale.

Naturally if the product is delivered with a fault a replacement will be supplied.

Payment

We require payment upfront at the time of ordering and your card will be debited at the point of order confirmation. You can pay using the Clear Accept, Stripe or Amazon Pay button at the end of the shopping cart, whereby your personal data and payment detail is SSL encrypted. (SSL is a Secure Sockets Layer that provides security in transferring data over the Internet, forming a layer of encryption between the server and client. This is particularly important in a commerce situation, as the shopper is providing merchants with their personal information and often with their credit card number.)

Our online payment solutions are all PSD2 SCA compliant from a PCI DSS Level 1 company, and undergo active fraud monitoring process so that customers are protected.

Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode (3D Secure) are the latest fraud prevention initiatives launched by Visa and MasterCard.

3D Secure works in a similar way to Chip and Pin, by asking the customer to enter a unique password in order to complete their online order.

OR

You can call or email us to arrange payment by credit/debit card or make a transfer to our bank.

Refund Policy

If your product develops a fault within 14 days we will offer a refund or replacement subject to your choice. This is in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please return the item(s) with proof of purchase and we’ll exchange or refund you once received. Please disable any security features and remove your personal data.

After 30 days, we’ll repair or replace the product in accordance with the terms of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Returning your product because you changed your mind

Please return your item unused and in original condition (including all labels and tags intact) with proof of purchase within 30 days, and we’ll give you an exchange or refund, as long as your returned product is deemed unused and in a resale condition.

Lost or Delayed Deliveries

Please note that whilst we pay for a next day delivery in nearly all cases sometimes parcels are delayed by couriers, which is out of our control. A refund or replacement in the instance of a lost parcel by Royal Mail or a courier can only be actioned once 7 working days has past from the due date of the delivery. Once this time has passed we are able to action a claim with Royal Mail or the courier and at this point can deem the parcel lost. Until this time has passed we can only chase the courier and Royal Mail to look for the parcel, unfortunately we are not able to speed up this process and cannot take responsibility for any losses as a result of a late parcel delivery.
